Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 10 May 2025
1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions govern the basis on which Kaew Capital ("we", "us", "our") offers financial education programmes and operates the website at kaewcapia.world. Kaew Capital is a financial education provider based at 247 Sukhumvit Soi 23, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.
By registering for a programme, submitting an enquiry through our website, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a registration or enquiry.
These terms are written in plain language and in good faith. If any part is unclear, please write to us at [email protected] and we will do our best to explain.
2. Our Programmes
Kaew Capital currently offers three financial education programmes for adults aged 40 and above:
- A Reading on Behavioural Finance for Adults — a four-session programme
- The Cost of Living Reading — a one-day workshop
- The Slow Reading Programme — a six-month programme of monthly meetings
Full descriptions of each programme, including session count, format, and materials provided, are available on our website. Programme content is intended for educational purposes only. Nothing presented in any programme constitutes financial advice, investment recommendation, or legal counsel.
We reserve the right to update programme content between cohorts in response to new materials or facilitator judgement. The core structure and duration of each programme will not change without prior notice.
3. Enrolment & Fees
To register for a programme, please submit an enquiry via our website contact form or by telephone at +66 86 412 9573. A place is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and a written confirmation from Kaew Capital.
Current programme fees are:
- A Reading on Behavioural Finance for Adults — ฿5,500 THB
- The Cost of Living Reading — ฿8,300 THB
- The Slow Reading Programme — ฿11,300 THB
All fees are inclusive of any materials described in the programme description (reading lists, reference cards, companion guides). Fees do not include travel, accommodation, or any personal costs incurred by participants in attending sessions. Fees are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and are not subject to VAT under the current registration status of Kaew Capital.
We review our fees periodically. The fee applicable to your registration is the fee published on the website at the time your place is confirmed.
4. Payment
Full payment is required in advance to confirm a place on any programme. Payment instructions (bank transfer details) will be provided upon receipt of your enquiry. We ask that payment be made within 5 business days of receiving those instructions, to hold your place.
We accept payment by Thai bank transfer only. We do not accept cash, credit card, or digital wallet payments at this time. A payment receipt will be issued by email within 2 business days of funds being received.
If payment is not received within the agreed window, we reserve the right to offer your place to another participant. In such cases, we will contact you before doing so.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation by the participant:
- Cancellation 14 or more days before the first session: full refund, less a ฿500 administration fee
- Cancellation 7–13 days before the first session: 50% refund
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the first session: no refund
For The Slow Reading Programme (six months), once the programme has commenced, no refund is available for the remaining months if a participant chooses to withdraw. We recognise this is a significant commitment and encourage prospective participants to consider the programme at their own pace before registering.
Rescheduling by the participant: We will accommodate one rescheduling request per participant per programme where our schedule permits, at no additional charge, provided the request is made at least 5 business days before the affected session.
Cancellation by Kaew Capital: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a session or programme, we will offer a full reschedule or a full refund of the amount paid. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred by the participant as a result of cancellation.
6. Programme Changes
We may, from time to time, need to adjust the venue, date, or facilitator for a session. We will give as much notice as practicable. Where such a change is material (for example, a change of date that affects the total duration of a multi-session programme), we will offer participants the option to reschedule or receive a pro-rata refund.
Minor adjustments to session content, reading materials, or the order of topics do not constitute a material change and are at the facilitator's discretion in the service of the programme's educational aims.
7. Conduct & Participation
Our programmes bring adults together in a shared learning environment. We ask that all participants engage with courtesy toward the facilitator and fellow participants — listening attentively, contributing when comfortable, and respecting the pace and tone set by the facilitator.
We ask that participants do not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Kaew Capital. Printed materials provided during sessions are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared commercially, or distributed online.
Kaew Capital reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful, without refund. We do not anticipate this arising, but retain this right in fairness to all participants.
8. Materials & Intellectual Property
All written materials, reading lists, reference cards, companion guides, and website content produced by Kaew Capital are the intellectual property of Kaew Capital and are protected under applicable Thai and international copyright law.
Materials provided to programme participants are licensed for personal educational use only. They may not be copied, shared, adapted, or distributed in any form — digitally or in print — without prior written permission from Kaew Capital.
Where materials reference third-party works (books, publications, Bank of Thailand data), those works remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. We include such references under fair use principles for educational commentary.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kaew Capital offers educational programmes intended to support participants' understanding of personal finance, household economics, and related topics. We do not guarantee any particular outcome for participants — financial, professional, or otherwise.
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to any participant in connection with a programme shall not exceed the fee paid by that participant for the programme in question. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from participation in, or absence from, any of our programmes.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Nature of the Service
Kaew Capital is a financial education provider. Our facilitators present considered educational material drawn from published literature on behavioural finance, household economics, and related fields. Nothing discussed in our programmes — in any session, any material, or any verbal exchange — constitutes personalised financial advice, investment guidance, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product.
Participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial advisor or other qualified professional before making personal financial decisions. Kaew Capital accepts no responsibility for financial decisions made by participants, whether or not those decisions are informed by material encountered in our programmes.
11. Website Use
Our website at kaewcapia.world is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate programme enquiries. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that the website is free from errors or that it will be available at all times.
You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful or disruptive content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to reproduce, adapt, or redistribute our content without permission.
12. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We process personal data in accordance with the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or our programmes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand. We hope, of course, that any concern can be resolved through direct and considerate conversation before reaching that point.
14. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to registered programme participants by email. Continued use of our website or services after any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
